Celebrated for their complete point of view and artful approach to not only the design of the objects they create but the world and narrative they craft around them, Apparatus does not follow a traditional format for advertising or brand communication, but rather transports its audience by creating experiences and spaces that are total works of art. I joined the company to help establish and direct a new Art Department under the creative leadership of Andrew Cinnamon. During my time with Apparatus we grew the Art department, established best practices to support the rapidly expanding organization, and supported Founder Gabriel Hendifar's vision to infuse a sense of profound human experience and meaning into every touchpoint of the brand.
APPARATUS : ACT FOUR

Act Four is inspired by the playful ingenuity of art and technology in the 1960s, and is the largest collection that Apparatus has produced to date. I joined the company just as they had finished shooting the film and still content starring Debra Shaw. With hours of incredible footage, they needed someone with campaign experience to edit and craft a program that could sustain the course of the year and support all formats of brand presentation. The result is a series of scenes that evoke the studio's creative process and a launch event that transformed the New York Gallery into a Jazz club for three nights only.
